Susan Schlechter was first introduced to Henrietta UMC in 2000 when she met her husband, Will. Will’s family has a long history in Henrietta UMC and Susan was also raised in the Methodist Church. Susan and Will are both church members and both very active in the church along with their four children. Susan is a stay-at-home mom who also has a home office where she does the paperwork for her husband’s excavation business and farm. Susan became Henrietta UMC’s secretary in 2016, and served as pianist during worship for two years. Susan also is co-chair of the Faith Formation committee and serves as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher.
